Very bad service we agreed on something before the surgery and from the beginning they were lying for example about how long the surgery will be they said for around 4 hours it turned out to be 10 hours they didn’t stay for an extra hour no 6 hours !!!!!!!!!!!! When my family asked the people that work in the hospital everyone was so calm and they only reply that I’m not in danger and it’s normal, what’s normal 10 hours in surgery???????? And before I leave the hospital I discovered that the doctor made a completely different surgery than what we agreed on in the first place. I asked for extra blankets they made me wait for around an hour and no one got me anything. My daughter had to go to them every 10 min to check on what happened but they kept saying ok without seeing it. At the end when my daughter got mad and asked them for the 10th time one of the nurses gave her a blanket from another room. I don’t recommend this hospital and hopefully learned from my lesson. And I’ll never go back to this hospital

I had a nose surgery here in this hospital and I have zero complaints about anything! My wife was taking care of me post surgery for two days in there and she was extremely comfortable. They were so amazing with their services, cleanliness , and helping you with your needs that I couldn’t believe a hospital and it’s staff could be this nice. If I could, I would give 10 starts! Thank you for everything!

, I had the procedure on 11/29 at Medistanbul hospital with the doctor Mustafa Sitki Yüksel I'm passing by to tell you my experience: the sales department is incredible, but on the day of the surgery they didn't comply with the agreement of providing a translator in Portuguese, then the doctor never had a conversation with me, not before and not even after to give post-surgery guidance, the night shift nursing team is of poor quality, they are rude when administering medication and without politeness, they enter the room making noise when turning on the lights and they don't use gloves all the time, which made me very uncomfortable, because when they changed medication they didn't use gloves! I complained the first day the management came to talk to me, but it was no use! They speak absolutely nothing in English and don't make any effort to understand or instruct you! The nutritionist just gives you the same diet as everyone else, and doesn't explain anything in detail! I WENT ALONE and felt very mistreated! The surgery apparently worked but I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! the doctor only spoke to me shortly before I left, asking me to take a photo to post on Instagram

In this hospital, there is a big problem in communicating with the patient during the recovery period after performing operations. They had an operation a month ago, and I visited the doctor once a week after the operation, and after that I traveled to my country. They told me that I have the right to communicate and ask any questions or inquiries for a year after the operation. But as soon as I returned to my country, they did not respond to calls or messages. I even asked them for my medical file (operation report and analysis, etc.), but they did not send it to me.

My experience with Okan Markoc and his team was just terrifying and frustrating on an unprecedented scale. Already on the day of the examination, we were involved in a terrible car accident when we were being picked up from the clinic. To my dismay, no thorough investigation was conducted, nor did anyone on the team show the slightest sign of empathy. No one asked about our well being or if we needed anything. Instead, we were coldly and unemotionally told that we would have to pay all check-up costs out of our own pockets, as if the accident was our fault. On the day of the operation, the disaster reached a new level of horror. Although I was picked up at 11 a.m., we experienced a real breakdown odyssey. The second vehicle that was supposed to be transporting us suffered a burst tire - a situation that could happen in any horror movie. But instead of looking after our safety and well-being, the whole thing was simply dismissed. After our endless ordeal and arrival at the hospital, it wasn't until 1 p.m. that we even got a chance to prepare for the planned surgery. For ten hours I sat in the hospital hungry and thirsty with no communication or comfort from the team. The doctor, who had traveled from Izmir and was already delaying the operation because of a flight delay drama, finally showed up at 9 p.m. But not even a hint of an apology or an empathetic question about how I was doing came from him. The clinic's managers at least tried to mitigate the situation, but they too quickly became part of the problem. They justified the whole situation by saying that there was nothing they could do about it. Interest in the patient's well-being seemed to be dwindling while costs continued to rise. Adding to my personal horror trip experience: I felt so insecure and uncomfortable in this environment that I decided not to have the surgery. I had an uneasy feeling that my safety and well-being might be at stake and it seemed like I might have been in danger on that operating table. This strengthened my decision to leave this clinic and not to undergo the operation at Okan Markoc. Despite this, they spent hours trying to change my mind and undergo the surgery. At the end of this horror trip I was presented with a shocking bill of €1000 for the previous investigations as if they were made of solid gold. Comparable costs in Turkey are usually much cheaper, usually a maximum of 2000 TL. No one, really no one, could provide me with proof of how this absurd calculation came about. Why? Because nobody seemed to want to work anymore when it came to billing time. As if it's my problem that I waited like an extra for 10 hours while nobody took care of me. This is beyond annoying and totally unacceptable! Above all, the manager says that they pay 300€ out of their own pocket. The question arises why not even my best friend or my sister would pay something out of her own pocket, why should a foreign woman do that? These are all meshes in Turkey, please don't fall for it. They wanted to calm me down with medication so that I decided on the operation. Such a disrespect, of course I didn't take it because I was clear in my mind. The experience with Okan Markoc and his team was one of such incompetence and indifference that it felt like a nightmare. Despite their possible medical skills, there is a clear lack of basic decency and professional behavior here. We then had to take a taxi all the way back even though we had already paid for this service. However, as expected, no one seemed to care or compensate us. This was just another disappointing aspect of this disastrous experience. My advice to future patients: please think twice before deciding to have treatment at this clinic. There are undoubtedly doctors and institutions that are not only medically competent, but also have the human component in patient care. And do not pay your money in advance to avoid such complications, because actually the money is given after the operation. After all, you have to feel comfortable with the doctor and the team.
